- The fashion label di+/diplus/ was founded in 2006 by the Bulgarian designer Dessislava Ivanova, who lives and works in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her first steps in fashion started in 1997. She does not belong to a particular school but her irresistible desire to express herself led to the start of her own fashion label, which was presented f/w 2006-07 in a multi brand boutique in Sofia next to brands like Yohji Yamamoto,Rick Owens,Kris Van Assche and Dior to name a few.In 2010 She opened her own boutique / studio filled with black wood, concrete, leather and metal. Her collections are... designed to accent the figure and amplify every personality with an emphasis on elegance and sportive chic, carrying a boyish spirit, suggesting the unisex idea. For the last 13 years, Dessislava Ivanova has been creating collections of simple and linear designs with clear forms and colours, emphasising on high quality. By an unconventional mix of materials, cut and production techniques the designer creates wearable yet unique clothing.This is the brand, that makes exclusively limited series in terms of production tehnology.Individual and not for everybody.By appointment only.
