Abaut the designer Dessislava Ivanova@DIPLUS The fashion label di+/diplus/ was founded in 2006 by the Bulgarian designer Dessislava Ivanova, who lives and works in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her first steps in fashion started in 1997. She does not belong to a particular school but her irresistible desire to express herself led to the start of her own fashion label, which was presented f/w 2006-07 in a multi brand boutique in Sofia. Her collections are... designed to accent the figure and amplify every personality with an emphasis on elegance and sportive chic, carrying a boyish spirit, suggesting the unisex idea. For the last 7 years, Dessislava Ivanova has been creating collections of simple and linear designs with clear forms and colours, emphasising on high quality. By an unconventional mix of materials, cut and production techniques the designer creates wearable yet unique clothing. |

"Light in the dark SS2013 e препратка и вдъхновение от киното и фотографията в годините на сюреализма - движение в изкуството, чиито основи са положени през 1924 г. - обединяващо художници, мислители и изследователи в стремежа им да освободят разума и да изразят подсъзнателното. ”Светлина в мрака” означава – да се научим да ценим живота си. Защото той има и друго лице – любовта, топлината, усмивката, другото място, където след тъмното, в покоите на светлината - “най-трудно оцеляваме от нежност”. Тъмното е изпитание, но същевременно и дар от съдбата. Няма по сигурен начин за порастване от този, а огъването пред трудностите би било равносилно на малодушие. Изтърпяването на тъмнината е подготовка за Великата Светлина. |
